HERITAGE FAMOUS AMERICAN ILLUSTRATORS AUCTION #806 2003

This is an awesome art catalog from Heritage Signature Auction #806 March 9,2003.  The company also goes by Heritage Comics but this auction catalog is not for comic book art but for incredible book and advertising illustrations by some of the best!!  There is at least two pictures and descriptions of works on almost every page of this 128 page catalog.  Some names I recognize since I work at the Delawre Art Museum and they have their own wonderful illustrators collection.  But this must have been a great auction!  SOme of the artists included in the book are Ronald Anderson, Enoch Bolles, Gilette Elvgren, Charles Dana Gibson, George Guzzi, Cardwell S. Higgins, Norman Rockwell, Arthur Sarnoff, Mauro Scali, Charles Gates Sheldon, and many other artisits. 

This auction catalog is in great condition.  Slight shelf wear along the edges of the cardstock cover and I am finding some that have some scuffing to he top third of the cover. This is straight out of the shipping box they came in.  The original price was $50.00 so here is  a chance to get a great catalog of artwork for much less.  Great for research or could even be used to cut apart for collage or mixed media artwork.
