This auction is for a 35 inch cashmere and silk scarf, Plumes by Henri De Linares. This design is absolutely gorgeous in this color way. This particular scarf has rolled hems. Hermes has introduced fringe on all four sides for 35 inch cashmere and silk scarves for fall/winter 2009/2010. If you prefer the rolled hems this is definitely a great chance to acquire a wonderful vintage scarf.  

 This colorway has a navy border, and an off white border, with accent colors in cranberry, light blue, gray, rust, gray, and others. It has its original content label (bottom left). The tag is the smaller folded tags associated with older scarves. The hems remain plump. The fabric is a bit lighter in feel than the current cashmere/silk scarves. It does not have its original folds, and there is a very small slub in the fabric, not a run, a small bump, a fraction of an inch long.  It is 65% silk and 35% cashmere and was made in France. It is not a sale scarf.
