Lovely "HM" (Her Majesty) Sutherland China bowl.  Made in England.  Pattern:  "Rural Scene".  Measures 7-3/4 inches in diameter.  It is in excellent condition - no chips or scratches.  There are some natural little dings on the bottom side- as shown in the photo. This was a Bridal shower gift to actor Marshall Thompson and his fiancee from Elizabeth Taylor in 1948- Thompson's marriage was in January, 1949.
