Laser Engrave whatever you want in the base.

HO Scale Custom Wooden Desktop Display Case with Acrylic Cover.  These display cases look great on a coffee table, desk or as a centerpiece on a dining room table.  Bring your hobby to work with you.  They make great conversation pieces.  The display photos show one of my favorite locomotives, a Central Vermont Alco RS-11 in Larson Green and Yellow.  I have tested GP-38's in the cases as well. 

These display cases have a black walnut base which I can Laser engrave with whatever text you wish.  Ideas would include the locomotive type and manufacturer, the railroad name, years of operation etc.  Bases can be left blank if you wish too.  Please put your email address in the message to the seller section so that I can correspond with you.  I will send you a sample image of the engraving for approval before processing the Walnut blank.  HO scale wheel flanges fit perfectly in the slots cut in the base.

The acrylic top cover is welded together from laser cut parts.  The cover fits snugly on top of the model preventing dust from getting inside.  Please note that Acylic cannot be washed with a paper towel or it will scratch.  Softcloths or microfiber detailing cloths only should be used to clean or duct the cover.

Base dimensions are: 11-1/4 inch by 4-1/4 inch

Arcylic inside dimensions are: 9-3/4 inch by 2-3/4 inch

Make sure your locomotive will fit inside these inside dimensions.  If they don't contact me and I can make a different size case. 

I will also be offering cases of varying sizes including sizes for locomotive and caboose, two locomotives, and a large steam locomotive soon. 

Please be aware that this is an order for an item to be manufactured upon purchase.  The bases are finished with 4 coats of tru-oil which takes 4 days. My goal is to get the item out to you in a week so you can probably expect two weeks until delivery.
