Fresh from a fine local estate comes a FABULOUS vintage hand painted and artist signed Italian ceramic jardiniere or planter in the form of a lion's head. The piece is painted in white and blue and is very graphic.  It is in very fine  condition free from chips and cracks. It does have a few tiny flakes in the glaze and a fair amount of dirt and oxidation on the interior as it was used.  It is quite large measuring approx 8 1/4" in dia x 9" high and is marked "AB ITALY FOR NIEMAN MARCUS" on the underside.
