Here is a HOPI plaza dance Headdress. It was purchased at a Sotheby's Fine American Indian Art auction in 1995. Auction #N06709 of 05/23/95. from the catalogue: Property from the Janss Collection lot #59 A Hopi Cloth Dance Headdress, of tricrested form, probably representing stylized rainclouds, composed of a wood frame, overlaid with panels of patterned cotton cloth, decorated in black and white pigment, a leather and wire band attached to the crown. Height 13 in. (33 cm.) This is a very rare item and such as these are rarely offered for public sale. All relevant paper work, for provenance, will be included. It will be sent to only a USA address. S/H is $100.00 and insurance is STRONGLY recommended, otherwise buyer assumes risk. PLEASE NOTE: PayPal is NOT accepted for this, unless fees are included. Check or M.O. is accepted.
