HOUSE of HATTEN large ELF - fabulous costume details

The House of Hatten elf was a treasure to display at Christmas for about 4 years.  However, we remodeled 5 years ago and no longer have the "perfect" area to display this fellow and several other larger pieces which have been packed away.  (We did gain better living space).   Unfortunately he has been in storage all this time.  We have a smoke-free home.

This elf and his dolls are a fabulous example of the artistry of Denise Calla for House of Hatten.  This rosey cheeked fellow stands 22.5" tall.  His face is molded plaster/resin and painted to show off his impish look.  He has thick curly beard and hair.  His coat and hat are made of red wool, trimmed with a floral cotton print around the front, cuffs and the hat band. There is a green heart appliqued to the top of the inverted pleat on the back of the coat.  The hat point ends with a brass bell.  His turned up shoes are made of a knit fabric, with bells at the curled up toes.  His body suite is dark green cotton, the cuffs made of the same floral print as the coat.  The over-shirt is a lace fabric.  Five brass bells are attached to the lacey edge.  The green mittens are of fleece; the white shirt cuffs are accented with two bottons on each cuff.  The two dolls he holds have fabric bodies, wired arms and legs.  The clothes are made of the same fabrics that were used for the elf's costume.  Everything is glued in place so he cannot be undressed nor can the dolls be removed from his arms.  The only sign of wear are a few scratches on the wood base which can easily be touched up.

I am clearing out a large number of items that have been stored in an environmentally controlled building that is smoke free; many have never displayed or opened until now for photos.  Please check my other items to save on shipping.

Payment:  I accept PayPal only.  Payment must be received within 3 days of auction close.  

Shipping: 

• Item is shipped via USPS Priority mail or USPS Parcel Post within 2-3 days of payment receipt.  You will be charged only what I pay to ship the package or less.  There is never a handling fee.   Insurance and tracking are included.  In the case of this big fellow, I will also include USPS parcel post option as he weighs approx 4 lbs in an oversized box when packed for travel.  If, when I take him to the post office, his shipping is less than the estimate, I will refund the difference.
• NOTE:  due to the size of the package, all shippers charge the 25 lb rate no matter the actual weight of the package.  In other words, shipping charges for large packages are by how much space the package occupies in the truck or plane; weight is not a factor unless the package weighs more than 25 lbs.  The shippers claim this is due to the cost of fuel.
• Shipping time for your package from drop-off at the post office to your door is out of my control.  
• I combine shipping weight on ended auctions up to 7 days after the first auction ends to save you as much as possible on shipping charges. 

Service:  Though I am not a store or a Power Seller, I try to give the best possible service so as to earn a 5-star rating.  The star ratings affect my ebay costs.

• Shipping is at cost or less.   I send ebay messages when the auction ends, when the package is shipped and when I see the package was delivered according to the USPS website.  Please use the ship date on the package as an indicator of my shipping time once payment is received, not the time it took for USPS to deliver your package.  The Ebay shipping rating is for the amount of time it takes from receipt of payment until the package is post-marked.   If the package is delayed due to USPS processing, I will help to find out where the package is.
• I make every effort to ensure the description is accurate.  If you need addional photos, please contact me and include your email so I can send them to you.  Ebay message service does not allow attachments.
• If there is any problem with the item, please contact me immediately upon receipt of the item so I can work out a solution to the problem.
