1. We use only high quality Premium OCP(tm) Inks. OCP inks, now available in the US, have been carefully formulated to match or exceed OEM specifications. Extensive batch testing ensures consistent results.
2. unlike many other ink resellers, we do not use (and never will) "Universal" or "Generic" inks. These inks are less expensive, but lack the print quality you will find in Premium inks.


Why you should never use "Universal" or "Generic" Inks:
1. A successful cartridge refill is only as good as the ink that goes into it. "Universal" and "Generic" inks are packaged so that a discount retailer or mass merchandiser can stock refill kits without investing much in inventory.
2. All printheads fire at a different temperature and require a specific density of ink to operate properly.
3. Due to the different ink density requirements, the shades of Magenta (red), Cyan (blue), Yellow and even Black are different for each particular cartridge.
4. Universal and Generic inks clog many printheads, resulting in repairs, or even printhead replsacements.
5. Many popular cartridges (51645A, 94, 96, 21 Lexmark 32, 34, 3 Dell) require different versions of pigmented Black ink. Universal inks are not pigmented, and dye-based inks will not work in these cartridges.
If all cartridges could use the same ink, then why don't Printer Manufacturer's use the same cartridges in their printer line?
Since the objective of refilling your printer cartridge is to save money, why not do it correctly the first time, using the proper inks and supplies.
Do not print with an empty cartridge. Many printheads contain resistors that get very hot, and require ink to keep cool. Printing with an empty cartridge can cause these resistors to burn out, rendering the cartridge useless upon refilling.
