You are bidding on one remote control for HP/Compaq Notebooks.  Please check compatibility with your notebook; not all HP/Compaq models support a remote control.   There is typically a round IR sensor towards the front of the laptop near the audio/mic jacks on laptops that support the remote.

You will receive the remote control, the battery, and the real battery cover (most of the other remotes on eBay have a battery cover made from cardboard and tape).
We believe that this is compatible with the following notebook series, but we do not guarantee it.   Some laptop models in a series may not have the infrared receiver built in.

If your model has an ExpressCard/54 slot, we have compatible remotes in one of our other auctions.
