Also, this handheld is great for viewing color images (given that it supports 64,000 colors at a resolution of 240x240). Note that while the built-in camera may not compare to a typical stand-alone digital camera, it is ideal for casual snapshots. This handheld supports the Bluetooth private area network protocol, which means that it has the ability to wirelessly connect with other Bluetooth-enabled devices within about 30 feet to synchronize data, access e-mail and the Internet, exchange files, and print documents.

The 3 inch screen has a resolution of 240 x 240 and the thumb keyboard below the screen is very easy to use. Slightly raised buttons and a positive click sound to each button make it easy to type. There is a green phone button to enter the phone app and dial a number. There is also the red phone button to end a call. A hardware button for Contacts and one to access the Messaging application are on either side of a thumbstick. The thumbstick allows true one-handed operation of the phone features which is a critical feature of a smartphone. A bright backlight helps you navigate the buttons in the dark. 

Don't think this is all a platform for great visuals either.  The hw6515 has superb audio quality.  The built-in speakers are crystal clear when it comes to playback of MP3's and speakerphone operation.  The included headphones will give you CD quality digital sound if you are on the go.  A built-in microphone lets the person on the other end hear you loud and clear, even in your moving car!

Making a connection

Not only harboring GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz and support for GPRS Class 10, the hw6515 is also the first Windows Mobile communicator to support EDGE for high speed data transfers, where applicable. Performance, both for data and voice is exceptional, with above-par signal reception as compared to previous Windows Mobile communicators.  The speakerphone feature works exceedingly well, making use of the hw6515 while driving easy and safe.

The integrated GPS receiver means you don't need to feed other devices through this one.  Everything you need is included right here in one handy unit!  Both BlueTooth, infrared and USB connections make the hw6515 highly connective.  The strong signal from the integrated wireless cellular modem means fewer dropped calls and clearer connections. 

The GPS receiver isn't the only thing concealed behind the exterior of the hw6515, though. Under the hood, we also find an 312 MHz Intel PXA270 processor backed up by 64 MB of volatile memory and 64 MB of non-volatile memory available to users. Also, the hw6515 offers up not only an SD Card expansion slot, but also a miniSD expansion slot, conveniently allowing for the simultaneous addition of of a Wi-Fi card and additional memory.
