HP Pavilion zx5000 laptop computer for parts or repair. Computer does not power on. I have no idea what's wrong with it. Since it does not power on, I have no idea if if everything else works. The power adapter light does come on when plugged in, but no lights go on on the computer. Adapter has not been tested, other than to plug it in and confirm that a green light comes on. The adapter wire leading from the adapter to the wall will need to be replaced because the outer coating of the wire is broken and has been taped. That wire is easily detachable from the adapter and can be found at Radio Shack or similar stores. The computer itself has scratches and wear marks all over the outer exterior. There is some corrosion on the front speakers and two keys are stuck ("E" and the "up" arrow key ▲). This computer would be good for parts for other computers or to be repaired. Please keep in mind this is being sold as is with no returns.
