Up for bid is a used DirecTV HD receiver with a built in Tivo HD recorder. Receiver is in Perfect shape it was replaced by a newer model a little over one year ago and has been stored in the orignal packaging until now. It's in perfect working condition with no scratches on the receiver or remote. I checked it before putting it up for bid buy hooking it up and testing it. Please see picture #10 showing that I tested it prior to listing it. This receiver has a 250 GB hard drive with dual recording so that you can record two High Definition shows at one time or watch one and record the other making it nice when there are two shows on at the same time. You can even pause play, rewind and watch in slow motion. It is capable of recording up to 30 hours of High-Definition or 200 hours of Standard Definition programming. This unit will also pick up local broadcast programs in High Definition using it's built in ATSC tuner and an Off-air intenna. You will need a 3 or 5 LNB dish and pay DirecTV for their service. Listing includes all of the original equipment and cables from when I purchased it new and will be shipped in it's original packaging. Hello I have had a few questions about this receiver and wethier or not it can be activated. I purchased this from Best Buy when the DVR that DirecTV supplied me burned out. I called DirecTV and they wanted me to either sing a new contract or purchase a new receiver. So I purchased this receiver from a local Best Buy. When I first posted this item up for sale DirecTV pulled it from auction so I had to contact them to find out why. I was told that the access card belonged to them and if I removed it from the sale I could relist it so I did. Please understand that I cannot represent DirecTV and unless you already know that you need at least a 3 LNB oval dish for this receiver to work with DirecTV service and that you need to pay for the service please dont bid on it. Please look at the receiver ID on the back of the receiver and on the TV screen in the pictures when I checked it and verify directly with DirecTV if they have a problem with it. I would think that they would of told me at the time that they wanted me to pull the access card they would of told me to also pull the receiver.
