Vintage 1950's Steiff SNOBBY Big Black Poodle Dog
 

Description:
Very sweet vintage Steiff "Snobby" big black poodle dog.

This rare sized poodle is straw stuffed and has jointed legs and swivel head. It has both black long and short dark brown mohair plush, hazel celluloid eyes and round button nose, red felt tongue, growler into the belly and red leather collar with metal buckle.

Made in Germany by Steiff ca. late 1950s. 

Dimensions:

14" (35.5 cm) long to tip of tail.

 

Condition:

Chest tag, label and Steiff button are missing. Plush on body is somewhat worn on sides (see pictures #5 and #6). Non functioning growler. Otherwise, very fine overall condition.

 

Note: This charming and desirable animal is free of odors and comes from a non-smoking and pet-free home.
