There will be six paintings in this series- all about four times life-size. This painting depicts the cat very realistically from a distance but when you get up close you see the brush strokes and the violet shadows.

This is a Giclee printed on archival acid-free canvas and stretched on stretcher bars. Only 25 of these large Giclees will be printed. Your print is numbered 2/25 and is hand-signed by myself, the artist who painted the original work. This edition is limited- your print will be one of only 25 in existence.

To would be imitators: This painting is my original idea, composition and design and it is copyrighted. It is against eBay policy to pirate artist's work and I will report violators. There has been a recent increase in foreign copy painters stealing images and re-painting them (poorly) to sell as their own. Don't be fooled - ask for a Certificate of Authenticity- take note of whether the auction is written in legible English. Poor grammar is one of the first clues that you may be dealing with copyists. Of course another obvious clue is if they advertise "Rembrandt" and "Vermeer" paintings. Folks, these artists are dead, they have been for centuries and you would be buying a poor quality reproduction with exactly NO intrinsic value. The work is not original to the artist creating it and therefore not a good investment. 

I use archival oils and quality canvas. Your painting is designed to last a lifetime (or longer).

Nora is an accomplished oil and pastel painter with a degree in Graphic Communications from Terra College of Design.
