Offered for your bidding consideration is this rare and wonderful Art Nouveau Art Deco handblown art glass roundel executed by world renowned art glass artist Stuart Abelman. Stuart has been making truly incredible works of art in his small studio in Northridge California since the early 1970's. This particular roundel is an unusual combination of irridescent cranberry glass with a wonderful slightly onionskin finish along the outer topside rim. It is truly a wonderful combination of shape, size and color and a total delight to behold! This beautiful roundel measures a very large 18" in diameter. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs. It is properly signed "Abelman 1989" and comes out of my personal collection. Roundels are a very unusual piece of art glass to possess and one this large out of Stuarts studio is indeed an extremely rare occurance! Shipping insurance is required for all purchhases.
