Offered for your bidding consideration is this very large and well executed Art Nouveau Art Deco lampworked art glass vase from New Zealand. I don't know anything about the artist "Viernik" but when I had the opportunity to purchase it several years ago I just couldn't resist! It is an extremely large (over 16" tall) and heavy vase whose base glass color is cobalt blue. The artist has applied three large lampworked white glass Calla Lillies with yellow glass stamens and freeflowing green glass stems over the cobalt glass and finished this incredibly gorgeous and technically difficult vase with a layer of crystal glass for added depth and definition. The top is both horizontally and vertically ruffled which adds to this vases dramatic effect! This wonderful vase measures over 16" tall and 4 & 1/2" at it's widest point. It is properly signed "Viernik '03 New Zealand". It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs and it comes out of my personal collection. Rarely do I see any art glass available for sale from our friends down under and it is even more unusual to see such a high quality piece of glass become available!
