ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS Volume 3
By Rudolf F. Graf
Absolutely a 'MUST HAVE' book for any serious experimenter, HAM radio amateur, CB hobbyist, inventor, technician or
engineer. This book is one of the most complete collections that you'll find. It has an exceptional Table of Contents with
126 chapters of circuits listed alphabetically from Active Antennas through Miscellaneous Treasures to Window Detectors.
"Sources" for most circuits are provided in an appendix in front of the index. The index is cumulative and includes the
contents of Vol 1 and 2.
This book is 838 pages HUGE and packed with circuits, circuits, circuits, about 1000 of 'em with well detailed schematics. Some of the semiconductor / IC part numbers may be uncommon today, but are still available on the internet. Also, substitutions with newer parts is easy for many of the semis / ICs, because their functionality is common and the circuit design, math and theory still apply. Use a circuit as-is, or as the basic concept to improvise and adapt to your own ideas.
![]() Click here for the Mega-View. Recent enough to be relevant, but dated just enough to spare you the obscure, hard-to-find ASICs found in the newer project books. This book is ideal for the kitchen-table breadboard home-brew, DIYer. Circuits utilize mostly simpler, general purpose types of semiconductors and digital and analog ICs that won't need multilayer PCBs to wire. Almost all of the circuits in this book are solid-state / semiconductor designs. Only a few tube applications are included in this collection. Many circuits are accompanied by a brief explanatory text. Those that do not have text can be readily understood by experienced technicians, from similar circuits in that chapter, or else they may be too complex to be explained briefly. The author notes that the sparseness of text is deliberate so as to allow for more circuits. The Index and Contents will be a time saver for the reader who knows exactly what he is looking for. The first page of each chapter lists the circuits in the order that they appear. The casual browser will discover many ideas and circuits that will turn out to be most rewarding and great fun to put together. An appendix lists the original source for most of the circuits. A premium reference book when you need a quick circuit design for your new project or to upgrade an existing one. This is for YOU if you venture beyond mere kit building. I've enjoyed just browsing and studying the circuits to see how someone else tackled a problem and to give me ideas for my projects. If I didn't have a copy of this book in my technical library already, I definitely wouldn't let this one get away. You will not be disappointed .............. But if you are, return it in the same condition and I will refund your purchase price (less S/H).
