Handcrafted from 200 seperate pieces, each onyx slab is wholly individual and unique.
Each onyx piece was carved and polished, then mounted onto a wooden box frame.
 
The swirling, rich tones of Onyx justify its reputation as the 'Princess of Marbles'.

 

The interior is covered in contrast brown velvet.

Solid brass hardware including the hinges, trim and latch are also handcrafted.
