HUGE Roses & Carnations Vintage Barkcloth Fabric Drape

I was never one for carnations...I think because they were always used in such tacky arrangements that did not to them justice...it wasn't until I was in the flower business doing weddings that I began using them in wedding centerpieces...I used them simply with fresh greens of lemon leaf and fern with white casablanca lilies and barely opened white roses with a ripe green edge...I never used my carnations with long stems...instead creating a tight look of carnations as filler...mostly white and some faded pinks...the look was beautiful...The look was beautiful...I guess my love for flowers transcends to fabrics...I've always loved flowers...even as a little boy I remembered names of flowers and could spend days laying on the grass weeding and tending to my mom's garden...pulling out marigold seeds and drying them to plant new ones...I guess I was an old soul...maybe living a life of a gardener previously. My hands were meant for dirt and designing I suppose :)....
