HUGE Solid Silver Motor Car Trophy Cup 1925 Weight 380g

I have up for auction today a HUGE Solid Silver Motor Car Trophy Cup Hallmarked and Dated 1925 Weight 380 Grams *SUPERB BARGAIN*

This is such a fabulous and truly high quality Solid Silver Trophy Cup which is in wonderful condition.

The trophy cup is quite plain with no fancy embossed designs, however it is a fabulous shape and each handle is beautifully designed and has delightful raised.

On the front of the trophy cup it has been inscribed upon and reads as follows:-  PORTSMOUTH AND DISTRICT “JOWETT” MOTOR CAR CLUB RELIABILITY CUP PRESENTED BY H.G. MITCHELL ESQ FOR ANNUAL COMPETITION.

This piece has also been clearly hallmarked and dated as follows:-  The Anchor representing Birmingham, the Assay Lion Passant and the date letter 'A' denoting the year 1925.

The Maker's mark reads as follows:-  F & S.

On the base there is a hand embossed number which reads:-  N17993.

This fine Solid Silver Trophy Cup measures 13.6cm to its highest point by 26.6cm in diameter at its widest point (including the handles) or 17.2cm in diameter (not including the handles).

This fine and high quality piece weighs an amazing 380 grams.

There are some slight/minor dints/dents upon this piece, but nothing at all serious in my opinion.

I endeavour to post out packages within 3 working days of receiving payment and all packages are sent via ROYAL MAIL.  I post/send/ship packages each:-  Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (except for bank holidays).

The estimated delivery times given by Royal Mail are as follows:-

UK – Up to approximately 7 Working Days

Europe – Up to approximately 15 Working Days

USA/Worldwide – Up to approximately 21 Working Days

International Buyers Please Note:-

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or

P&P charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

These charges are normally collected by the courier company or when you pick the item up do not confuse them for additional P&P charges.

When Bidding on my item please note that ALL of my items are carefully and very well packaged for their journey through the mail system. 

Please make sure you have taken note of the package and posting costs for UK residents and some Overseas Buyers will be notified of costs for postage and packaging upon invoicing.

ALL my items are sent by First Class 'Recorded Delivery' for inside the UK (British Isles) and First Class Royal Air Mail for Overseas unless asked for the item to be Insured. 

For ALL Overseas Buyers I will obtain a 'Certificate of Posting' as proof of posting, which I will be glad to pass on to you if the package should be lost,  however I DO NOT ACCEPTABLE RESPONSIBILITY for any lost items unless you have requested insurance.

I will be happy to combine postage and packing costs for multi purchases.

My P&P charges are inclusive of Postage AND Packing Materials (NOT just postage costs).

I prefer payment via Paypal Worldwide, however I will accept Postal Orders and Personal Cheques from UK Bidders (Please DO NOT cross the Postal Orders!).

I do NOT accept payments via IBAN.

If overseas buyers wish to pay by 'Money Order' it MUST be in 'British Pounds Sterling' and NOT US Dollars as I DO NOT accept any other currency!!! 

Please do not bid if you do not intend to honour your bid and purchase the item. If no response to my requests for payment are answered by the buyer, then I will have no hesitation in reporting non-payment to eBay and re-listing the item!

RETURNS & REFUNDS - If a refund is required, the item must be returned immediately or within 7 days of receiving the item.  I DO NOT refund P&P costs for any items returned, or the return costs, I ONLY refund for the actual item/s that are being returned!
