Here is a very large, Victorian period, cast iron oil lamp bracket or sconce, that holds three oil lamps. This type of fixture would have been found in a very large home or mansion in the late 19th century. It comes with three matching clear glass oil lamps, (though one has a slightly different filler cap), and burners - two are marked Eagle and one is marked Scovill. The fixture is a very ornate victorian design, and the lamp holders are marked inside -PAT JAN 31 - 1871. The gold paint on it appears to be very old, with black underneath. The fixture weighs 18 pounds and measures 27 inches wide, 16 inches tall and projects out from the wall 21 inches. The fixture is in very good condition - nothing is broken or missing, and the glass lamps are also in good, clean condition, with no cracks or chips. The fixture is very easy to disassemble/reassemble for shipping, with no tools required, (as shown in the last picture), and is very easy to mount onto a wall with just 4 screws. Please email any questions or for more pictures. |
