HUNTINGBURG IN MEMORIAL GYM 50TH ANNIVERSARY POST CARD

This listing is for a RARE post card celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the historic Huntingburg, Indiana, Memorial Gymnasium.  This post card was only available at the February 2, 2002, game between the Princeton Tigers and the host Southridge Raiders.  The post card shows a picture of possibly the biggest game ever played in this historic gymnasium - February of 1953, when the Huntingburg Happy Hunters, 16-0 and ranked #1 in the state of Indiana, hosted the #6-ranked Evansville Central Bears, a game Central would win 62-56.  Indiana has 15 of the 16 largest high school gyms in the entire country, and 28 of the top 36.  Huntingburg's gym is the 17th largest in the state of Indiana, but there are only TWO high school gyms outside of Indiana larger - one in Dallas and one in San Antonio, Texas!  A unique, vintage, HISTORICAL, one-of-a-kind piece of Huntingburg and Indiana High School basketball memorabilia that you won't find in any store or catalog, or anywhere else on Ebay!  Post card is 5 3/4 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches tall, and is in MINT condition!
