This turquoise blue half pint Ball Perfect Mason Jar is an original not a reproduction. I believe it is machine produced and there seems to be a slight manufactures indentation on the back that fits two of my fingers. There is a seam from top to bottom on both sides. There are no breaks or glue on this jar. #6 with an underscore is on the bottom in the middle of a circle, and coming off one area is a mold press mark, making this a unique piece indeed. The original zinc lid fits tightly and has a procelain insert. There are slight chips around the top of the jar caused by the zinc lid. It measures 2 1/2" across th bottom and is 3 1/2" tall or 3 3/4" with the lid on. A very nice piece for any collector.
