I suppose it is not too early to start thinking about the upcoming holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year.  Here is a unique punch bowl set made by Hall China for Old Crow Whiskey.  It is a complete set, which is rather rare to find.  It includes the beautiful large punch bowl, the ladle, and 10 cups, all trimmed in gold.  The punch bowl has a poem on both sides which reads:  "May you always have an eagle in your pocket, a turkey on your table, and Old Crow in your glass."  I think it would be a great conversation piece for your holiday parties, brimming with eggnog or champagne punch.  It is all in pristine, immaculate condition, including the gold trim.  No chips, no cracks, no crazing and no stains or discoloration.  Beautiful pieces.  The punch bowl stands nearly 7-3/4" high, and measures 13" in diameter across the top opening - very generous size.  This set is pictured and documented on page 248 of the Collector's Encyclopedia of Hall China, Second Edition, by Margaret and Kenn Whitmyer, copyright 1994.
