As a boy, Mark Newman longed for a closer look at the animals he saw during visits to his family's cabin in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and on camping trips to Yosemite National Park. Today, he paints and sculpts in beautiful detail the elusive wild creatures of the forests, fields, and mountains.
This design depicts a family of snowshoe rabbits, whose summer coats of tan have turned to white for wintertime. Thick fur on the bottoms of their feet gives them the ability to dash across the snow--and explains their name. Future ornaments in this series will portray other animals in natural settings.
This beautiful ornament comes in it's original box and is in very good condition. Bidding starts at a very low 7.99. Shipping is via the USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
