Welcome!

You are looking at a custom programmed microcontroller IC that will automatically perform several functions for you at the touch of a button.  Included in this auction is the pre-programmed Microcontroller IC and all other needed parts to modify your Original Xbox controller-S. Also included are step by step instructions for installing your chip. A link to the instructions can be found below.

This installation requires soldering several wires to extremely small confined spaces. I do not advise attempting this installation if you are a beginner at soldering. I recommend reading through all of the instructions and understand them before beginning your installation.  Installation instructions are for a Microsoft brand controller-S and will not work for Duke style controllers or non Microsoft controllers.

With this Chip installed you will be able to perform the following functions

First and foremost is the ability to perform a double shot with the push of one button. You will no longer have to take your finger off of the right thumb stick or push multiple buttons. By just touching the new right side button underneath the controller you will get a perfect double shot (6 bullets fired instead of 3). With a battle riffle and a full mag you can unload the entire clip in just 3.75 seconds.

Second, since the double shot only works with the battle rifle there is an additional mode that the controller can be switched to that performs a rapid fire, rapid fire make the controller continuously do the motion of the Right trigger, but all you have to do is hold the button underneath the controller. This will take any single fire weapon and make it into an automatic weapon.  (note: the controller cannot make a gun shoot faster than what the game will allow)

Third, BXRR and BYYRR. BXRR is like the normal BXR, except instead of a single burst you get a double shot to increase your chance of a kill even more. BYYRR uses Y to cancel the melee motion instead of X. The benefit to this is that you do not need a full clip, you can use it over and over again without reloading. The only negative to the BYYRR is that is is slightly slower than the BXRR about 1/8th of a seconds.

Fourth, you have a button that performs a quick reload at any time (note: the quick reload does not work with all weapons). For most weapons this cuts the reload time down greatly allowing you to fire again much quicker than your opponent.

    Default Chip functions:

    Right button Primary = Double Shot

    Right button Secondary = Rapid Fire

     

    Left button Primary = BXRR

    Left Button 2nd function = BYYRR

    Left Button 3rd function = Quick Reload

    Switching modes: There are two buttons under your controller. One on the left, one on the right.  You will use the back button on your controller along with these two buttons for changing modes. Hold the back button and press the either the left or right button to cycle through that buttons functions. ( you can only change one function at a time, you must let off both buttons and start again to go to the next function)

    The double shot only works with the battle rifle.

    You must be holding spare ammo and a secondary weapon for proper functioning.

    The controller sends coded data to the Xbox main processor. Depending on what else the processor is doing, it can put the controller data in queue, and timings may be altered. This means the double shot does not work 100% of the time. This is especially true on the Xbox 360 which emulates the original xbox software and puts additional load on the processor. 

    This is equally true of a manually performed double shot.

    This product is not recognized or endorsed by Microsoft or Bungie. While it DOES NOT alter program code or network status, it might be seen as an unfair advantage by some players. Thus, while it works perfectly well on Xbox Live, I personally recommend that it be used only in private games.
