HAMILTON WATCH CO. MODEL 22  21 Jewels. SIZE 35 GIMBAL MOUNTED CHRONOMETER IN MOUNTING BOX AND CONTAINED IN AN OUTTER WOODED CARRYING BOX. INSIDE OF WATCH READS HAMILTON WATCH CO.MODEL 22-21 JEWELS ADJ. TO TEMP & 6 POS U.S. NAVY -BU SHIPS-1943 This time piece is in very good working condition. It was designed to be adjusted to the tee! Plenty of adustment,faster or slower. I did not clean or polish the brass. The new owner could really put a spectacular shine on this one! If one chooses. Some like an older patina. The carrying strap was removed long ago. It is stamped  Hamilton 14660 in 2 places. The boxes have a few scratches,please see photos.

 This magnificent time piece has been in the same family since new. It kills me to part with it but this will help pay for my daughters wedding. It comes with the original factory sales order from 1947. The last item to be installed on the family yacht after the Navy rebuilt the boat. The Navy appropriated the yacht during World War 2. This served as the timepiece untill 1987. Stored in an air conditioned home since. A letter from myself to improve provanance for the buyer is included.
