This lot contains a Hampden Watch Co., Movement No. 2480823. The watch is 18 size, 17 jewels, Grade No. 64, open face, nickel bridges with damaskeening, Grade No. 64, stem wind and set. The watch has a bimetallic compensating balance with a tempered blued steel hairspring. The watch has micrometric adjusting with the patented regulator. The enamel dial is good but we see a small crack and a chip. The dial has line minutes with black Arabic numerals. The Spade hands are good. This watch winds and sets smoothly and is running with a good motion. This is not necessarily a guarantee of the ability of this watch to keep good time. Our description indicates current conditions as we see them. Although this movement is running with a good motion, it has not been serviced for years and full service is always recommended before daily use. Remember this watch has been stored away in the watchmaker’s safe for many years. Take the time and look at the pictures they will tell the story.
