Antique Pocketwatch !
 
This is a very early Hampden Key Wind Key Set pocketwatch out of an estate-dates to 1886! This is the sought after Springfield Mass model! It is an 18 size, 17 jewel model in a heavy (3) silverine open face case! The movement is marked: Springfield Mass. Patent Pinion 421649.  Inside the case back reads: Dueber Silverine 1401755. Inside the dust cover is marked: 3 1401755. The porcelain dial reads: Hampden Watch Co. Dial has a few hairlines.  Watch is running..we do not know the timekeeping. It has been sitting in an estate for many years, and will need cleaning to keep running and keep time.  There are scratches on the case and crystal and a dent in the case back. Case has a crease where the bow has rested for so many years!
