This is a wood carved Ebisu.  He is the god of fishermen, good luck, and working men, as well as the guardian of the health of small children.  This figure measures 9 inches tall.  Ebisu is holding a fish in one hand and a fishing basket in the other. This carving has great detail and is in very good condition.
