Yesterday's Roses Roving by Sharon

Wool Roving:  approximately 2.1 oz  on three yards

Mohair Batting: 6 ounces 100% Mohair 


Suggested Uses: The roving is USA wool processed by Brown Sheep Co. and dyed here on the farm. The mohair is from an angora goat that lives about 5 miles from here. It was washed, dyed in the locks and then run through the drum carder only once.  These fibers were prepared the same way as the Tahiti Sunrise 150386523793 and  A Little Jaded 380173121809. These were spun with one strand of the wool and one strand of the mohair spun rather primitively. This combination could also be used for felting and needle felting. The weight total is just over 8 ounces of total fibers.
