There have been an increasing number of sellers that offer swords similiar to ours. Indeed, some even copy our pictures and slogans. We are proud of our small family forge. Whereas we share some tsuba and koshirae designs with others, our blade work is unique to us.
Stripped bare, compared to others, our blades tell their own story. Our blades are really hand forged and hand polished. We firmly believe that we make very good swords. Admittedly we do not make nihonto, but our chief aim is to make a high quality sword that students can use with pride and honour in a dojo.

Maintenance
These swords are not made from stainless steel and therefore need proper handling and maintenance to keep their natural beauty. Never touch blade with your hands or fingers, the sweat can damage a blade, should this occur quickly clean off blade with a clean dry cloth, talcum powder the blade and wipe again, and finally add a new coat of high quality Choji oil or equivalent. Pure clove oils will damage the blade. These swords are the real deal and it is recommended you have a very good knowledge of proper sword handling, and use proper care and caution.
