All hand-woven, wool pile on cotton foundation.

Size: 15 ½” x 15 ½” (not including fringe).

Unusual size, was probably made as a sampler or seat cushion for chairs. The weave is also similar to Hamadan Persian rugs. I’m 100% sure of its age and Persian origin, and there is nothing like it on eBay. This is a gorgeous vegetable & aniline dyed wool pile rug, with the bold geometric medallion design has full pile partial end on one side an minor fraying at one corner. The images show its condition quite well. Please, only true rug lovers should bid for this lot. You get what you see, nothing more, and, nothing less, there are no repairs. I am not putting a reserve.
