Hand Painted 3 Feather - Native American Indian Lady

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PRE-ORDER ITEM: The feather sent to you will not be exactly identical to the one (or ones) pictured - there will be some variation of color and detail - the auction is to request this image from Russ. There will be a maximum of one week from the purchase of the feather until it is ready and I can send it out to you. I can email a photo of your feather to you before sending it out to you, to make sure you are happy with it. Just let me know by email that you would like this done, and give what e-mail address to send the images to.

This item is a hand painted feather by Michigan artist Russ Abbott.

The painting is of a Native American lady. The feather will measure about 11x2 inches, and the matting is cut to 14x5.5.

All of Russ Abbott's feathers are unique. He picks out feathers that fit each design, then starts with an acrylic airbrush base, and a stencil to get the general outline. He then puts in all the detail of texture, fur, feather, color, facial details, flowers, reflections - everything else that makes the feather stand out - by brush. This means that while he may have two feathers painted with wolf eyes, or two hummingbirds - they are never identical, and always individual.

The feathers he uses are Turkey, and have been pre-sterilised, and sealed before and after to preserve the paint and the shape.

This feather comes mounted (as in the first picture) without the frames (like the ones shown in the last picture), though I can add the frame for an extra 20 dollars (I would add it on the invoice, if asked - and that would also cover the increase in packing and shipping)

Right now I have the below two frames - they are either the recommended 14x6 frames, or I can change the matting to fit 11x14 frames - let me know if you request the item framed which of these you prefer.

If paid for on the same invoice, I can do combined shipping on any of the feathers at $3.00 for each additional feather inside the US and $7.00 for each outside the US.
