This is a beautiful hand painted french limoges pitcher by Jean Pouyat. It is signed by the artist Argus and depicts a country windmill scene. On the bottom it has JPL France in green, it also has J. Pouyat Limoges inside the pink and green wreath, but also has BB & F Limoges, souvenir of Dixieland. I was unable to find out any information on the BB & F Limoges, or anything anywhere that even looked similar to this pitcher. It also has painted in silver on the bottom, 'Hand painted', and has a number that I can't distinguish. The handle of the pitcher is gold and twisted and doesn't have hardly any wear on it, and the gold around the rim is in near mint condition also. The pitcher itself is in near mint condition, without any cracks or chips of any kind. Would make a wonderful addition to any collection, or would even be great by itself. The pitcher is 10" tall and 5" at the base.

In fact, it is a chocolate pot, and therefore is missing the lid. I am sorry for any misrepresentation, as I did not know that this was a chocolate pot. I have never dealt in this type of product, and even after doing research, was unable to find anything like it. Again, I am trully sorry.
