Hand made Fishing, Fabric Hat









 



 This is the first of my new Spring Summer line.  This hat is fashioned after a fishing or bucket hat.  I use high end upholstery fabric and deerskin leather.  The 2 inch brim has a burgundy leather on the underside.  I have constructed a  1 3/4 inch wide leather belt with a brass buckle.  The hat lining is 100% medium weight duck cloth. This hat has 22 ½ to 23 inch hat size.   If you need another size, just let me know.  I do recommend dry cleaning for this hat.


My Hat Return Policy:

Returns are not accepted on hats.   I am a stickler about hat hygiene.  Hats that have been placed on one's head may not be returned;  I will gladly accept hats that need alterations or reshaping.  That is why it is imperative that you ask questions prior to bidding,  that will avoid fitting, structural and style problems.

How to measure your head:

 1. Using a tape measure made of plastic or cloth, measure circumference of head just above top of ears and just above the brow. Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the little bone in the middle of the back of your head). 

 2.  Place the tape measure at the top center of your head and measure the distance to where you want the brim to place. This will give the crown depth. It is important that you provide these two measurements to get a perfect fit. Remember; please include your hair in both measurements. Don't pull the tape too tightly; let it sit comfortably, i.e. how you'd like the hat to fit.

Each hat is steamed cleaned and wrapped in plastic to ensure a fresh and sanitary hat.
