It includes a delightfully hand painted 9 1/2" bottom whorl Annie May drop spindle, detailed and easy to follow instructions and a 2 oz ball of ultra fine Ashland Bay Trading Co. colonial combed wool top in multi brown tones. The depth of the hues includes burgundy, plum, purple and peacock & cobalt blue. This is a very unusual and pretty wool top, so soft & a very yummy colorway. The handmade, signed 2 oz wood spindle has a delightful trailing vine pattern with green leaves delicately circling the top of the whorl. It is hand rubbed with a natural oil wood finish. Each spindle is personally pre tested for balance, weight and spinning ease. I never use the spinning fiber from your kit to test your spindle.
