HandCarved Wood Buddhist 8 Auspicious Wallhanging Nepal

Spectacular wood carving skills created this unique Eight Auspicious Symbols wall hanging. Handcarved in Nepal, each of the four-inch diameter circles has been carved with hand tools, in amazing detail, and then painted in traditional colors. The carvings are particularly difficult with all of the carved out, open spaces and rounded, modulated symbols. The symbols are all carved out of one piece of wood, including the attached frame. The wallhanging measures 35 1/2 inches x 7 inches x 1 inch thick. These Tibetan Buddhist symbols are for long life, reincarnation, and represent Tibetan Buddhist teachings.The solid wood carving comes with hanging hardware attached. It is not old, but has been made to look old.
