This Life Bowl is a series of glass the crew and I have been making since Sept. Of 2005. This series number is 0396 , I am currently selling in 15 galleries. Life Bowl: ThisLife Bowl can hold, your reflection, happy thoughts, bread, or fruits and brings all living things together. The colors are beautiful representation of the interconnected web of life. This Life Bowl is multiple colors brought together in the liquid. The look is glass frit which is small pieces of glass laid out on marver table and rolled up on a hot gather of glass. Its weight is about 3 lbs. and is about 13 in. across and is about 2 in. off the wall. May happiness, joy and laughter find our planet daily. Richard Lowrie the Artist. Have been to Pilchuck Glass School 3 times. twice in 2004 and once in 2007. Have owned and operated my studio since July of 2005. This Life Bowl hangs on the wall for a beautiful display to be enjoyed for many, many, life times. It can also be taken off the wall and used then hung back up on a metal stand off and a metal bracket the stand off is attached by a very very strong adhesive and is so strong if the metal stand off was to be removed the glass would break, this system is made by hang your glass and holds up to twenty pds.
