You are buying 1 ornate hand carved textile hanger, it is a choice between 3 pieces seen on first photo, (and seen on second photo as well where you see the full bar but on the 2nd photo you also see 4 bars, the bottom one has been sold on that photo and is not available so the choice is strictly for the 3 bars on first photo. Pictures 3 to 12 show you use for those bars and different models available.
The bars all match together but have different motifs. Choose your favorite. They are each 28" long, 4 1/2" high, each was delicately hand carved with a lacy delicate motif to inhance the textiles that hang from them, handcarved by a master carver and unique.
Stores we sell them to triple the price for this style and size. We show you different styles of rods on the additional photos and how to use the hangers to display textiles or as an architectural accent. We ship internationally, we group ship multiple purchases to save you money, if you have any questions, email cheetahdmr@aol.com All our handcrafted or rare collector items come with pages and pages of research, about provenance, with history of the tribes and photos as well, depending on item and whenever possible. I usually only take pictures of 1/2 of each bar so the carving details can be better seen, the other ½ is the same of course. Photo 1 is of the bar (or bars) you are buying and, usually, the remaining photos are examples of use for these bars. We ship internationally. Liquidation bargain, at fraction of retail: These are give-away prices for unique beautifully (hand carved all along the top) handcrafted out of one piece of wood display hangers. We are liquidating 100's of bars with all sorts of motifs & styles to reduce inventory as we have closed 1 of our locations and need to make room in the other. Japanese museums, among other locations, buy our bars for their kimonos and obis. This is a one of a kind handcrafted intricate and detailed textile hanging display bar by a master carver or sculptor, used to display fine textiles on a wall: a Quilt, a Kimono, an Obi, and Ikat, a Rug, a Tapestry, a Needlepoint etc.... You can also just use them as Architectural Accents around or above doors, windows, mirrors & frames for example, see pictures included. Bars can be painted to match any decor. The rods enhance greatly and eclectically the textiles that are hung from them. They are unique art items with lacy detailed hand carved motifs: each piece is unique & sculpted by a master carver out of one piece of wood and makes a dramatic display for valuable textiles you wish to hang on the wall at a very reasonable price. The effect is quite stunning and covers a large area in a very decorative, economical and elegant way. We have many different styles and motifs available ranging from intricate foliage and flowers, palm trees in the breeze, pineapples, to animals such as elephants, geckoes, dragons, horses, birds, fish, dolphins etc… We also have many sizes (15" to 78" long, 15 sizes in all) but size does not always matter according to the effect you wish to produce: Textiles can be hung flat, gathered, folded and also on a much longer bar than their width which produces a somewhat Japanese decorative look (for example, a skinny runner can be hung on a much longer bar, it’s very elegant). Everything we carry, all handcrafted and unique products, has been handpicked by us on the premises to insure the best quality possible.
