Muddlers: The muddler is an important bar tool for anybody wishing to make the best classic cocktails. You might commonly see it used by bartenders to mash up some lemons or limes when used in the construction of a drink such Mojito or a Caipirinha.  It is used prior to adding any ice as a way to crush an ingredient in order to get it to release its oils and other flavor components. 

Mine are hand made one-of-a-kinds.  No two are exactly alike as they are made one at a time on my lathe and hand polished with only foodsafe beeswax.

Wood: Shedua - A Moderately coarse African wood with interlocked grain that produces striped and, sometimes, curly figure.  Often used for use in highly figured veneers, furniture, cabinets, flooring.  It is hard, heavy and takes a glass-like finish.
