This is an original Handi Quilter, a lightweight frame that is clamped to your table. Set your home sewing machine on the gliding carriage, attach the quilt top, batting and backing to the poles an the frame and quilt.
The frame is easily assembled and clamped on a long table top. The telescoping poles can be adjusted any size quilt up to KING size. The Handi Quilter parts are made of a combination of heavy duty plastic and aluminum poles. Cloth leaders help you attach your quilt parts to the poles. The carriage which holds your sewing machine runs along a track system. It allows you to guide your machine easily around the quilt. It has a very smooth motion no matter how heavy your machine is. Place your machine on the carriage, drop the feed dog and use the darning or free motion foot that comes with your machine. The Handi quilter can be set up and taken down easily and stores in a small space.
