Blade: folded steel, 13 times folded with 8192 layers 
Blood Groove: on both sides
Blade Edge: fully sharpened 
Habaki (Blade Collar) & Seppa (Spacer) Material: made of brass
Tsuba (Hand Guard): brass Tsuba (or choose any style)
Fuchi (Handle Collar) and Kashira (Handle Buttcap): made of brass
Tsuka (Handle): Authentic ray skin with brass menuki
Tang: Full tang with 2 Mekugi pegs
Saya (scabbard): black lacquered saya made of wood 
Sword Bag: 1 silk sword bag

100 percent of the blade is hand forged and consists of folded steel + high carbon AISI 1060 steel. This folded steel consists of iron + AISI 1045 steel through mixed folding. It has been forged 13 times and creating 8192 layers. This completed folded steel is wrapped with AISI 1060 steel bar's on both sides. Therefore, the blade is a combination of forged folded steel and AISI 1060 steel. This type of traditional forged methods results in a very sharp, sturdy blade and on the other hand very flexible at the back of the blade. The sword is battle ready and capable of bamboo cutting. It is suitable for Kendo and Iaido superior training. 

Notice: This blade is sharpened through the 7 process hand sharpening.
