Asian Oriental Japanese Style Sashiko & Origami Wall Art Quilt

18" x 17"

This is a lovely little wall hanging created with origami techniques, hand sashiko and machine quilting, a stylized version of a morning glory.
I have had this little quilt hanging in my house for a number of years. I am moving and do not have enough room for all my wall hangings in my new house.





The hand sashiko is done with multiple strands of cotton floss.



The flowers and stems also have hand-stitching on them.



The flowers are three-dimensional.



On the back is a pretty pink Japanese fabric.

 
 
All my items are from a smoke-free and pet-free home.

This quilt will be carefully shipped in a padded envelope.
