Handmade Leather Fox Fur Bomber Aviator Hat










 
  

 
This is one of my latest hat designs. This hat is fashioned after the vintage Bomber Aviator hat.  My design is unique: The leather crown is hand formed; the outside flap is supple medium weight leather, and the inside flap is genuine, rabbit, silver fox, or red fox fur.   This hat has a removable flap which is fastened with 5 snaps that are around the bottom of the crown.   You can remove the flap or turn it up onto the crown.  On those cold days,  just attach the flap to the crown  to keep your ears nice and toasty. The fur is utilized for warmth and beauty.  This is not the actual hat.  Winner of auction must contact me with head size measurements.  See "how to measure your head"  below.  It is imperative I get the exact measurements.   The crown lining is my trademark, 100% Cotton high end designer fabric. There are two snap straps attached to the bill for extra support.


My Hat Return Policy:

Returns are not accepted on hats.   I am a stickler about hat hygiene.  Hats that have been placed on one's head may not be returned;  I will gladly accept hats that need alterations or reshaping.  That is why it is imperative that you ask questions prior to bidding,  that will avoid fitting, structural and style problems.

Each hat is steamed cleaned and wrapped in plastic to ensure a fresh and sanitary hat.

 How to measure your head:

 1. Using a tape measure made of plastic or cloth, measure circumference of head just above top of ears and just above the brow. Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the little bone in the middle of the back of your head).
 
 2.  Place the tape measure at the top center of your head and measure the distance to where you want the brim to place. This will give the crown depth. It is important that you provide these two measurements to get a perfect fit. Remember; please include your hair in both measurements. Don't pull the tape too tightly; let it sit comfortably, i.e. how you'd like the hat to fit.
