Handmade Russian Rabbit Fur Aviator Bomber Hat

 

 

This hat is my interpretation of the traditional Russian Fur Hat.   The Russian Version has a long history of utilizing a variety crown styles and fur type.  My handmade hat is constructed of a color variety of Rabbit Fur.  This unique construction has a rear flap that can be worn up or folded down, keeping your ears and neck warm.  The Front of the Flap is constructed of the rabbit fur and the back side of the flap is brown leather.  There is a one half inch leather band at the base of the crown.  The inside lining is my trademark 100% High End Designer Fabric . This hat will fit head size 22.5 to 23.0 This is the actual hat up for auction.  


My Hat Return Policy:

Returns are not accepted on hats.   I am a stickler about hat hygiene.  Hats that have been placed on one's head may not be returned;  I will gladly accept hats that need alterations or reshaping.  That is why it is imperative that you ask questions prior to bidding,  that will avoid fitting, structural and style problems.

How to measure your head:

 1. Using a tape measure made of plastic or cloth, measure circumference of head just above top of ears and just above the brow. Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the little bone in the middle of the back of your head). 

 2.  Place the tape measure at the top center of your head and measure the distance to where you want the brim to place. This will give the crown depth. It is important that you provide these two measurements to get a perfect fit. Remember; please include your hair in both measurements. Don't pull the tape too tightly; let it sit comfortably, i.e. how you'd like the hat to fit.

Each hat is steamed cleaned and wrapped in plastic to ensure a fresh and sanitary hat.
