Here is an original cel from animation legend Hans Bacher from my fox art collection.

For nearly three decades I collected original art featuring the fox. At times I purchased existing pieces such as cels, paintings, cartoons and such. I also got original drawings from dozens of artists including animators, cartoonists, illustrators and more. At one time I had over 200 original pieces in my collection. Now it is time to find new homes for these amazing items.

HANS BACHER is one of the most active artists in modern animation. In the 1970s and 80s, he was a well known cartoonist, illustrator and animator in Germany. He was also an instructor of animation at a major university. (One of Hans students was Andreas Deja!) In the 1990s Hans made the move to the US where he began work at Disney doing art design on such features as THE LION KING and MULAN. For a period of time he created a blog that specialized in recreating past background paintings from Disney classics to show the technique and style of the times.

This cel was done for an industrial film on energy. It was a companion to a comic book Hans did with the same character.
It is inscribed to "John" and signed by Bacher with a 1981 date.
The cel is on a sheet of blank animation paper stamped with Bacher's studio name and logo (a pencil).
The paper's hole punches are on the top, as seen. The cel's are on the bottom and do not interfere with the image.
Cel measures around 8x11.5 inches, a European standard size.
The cel seems to be in fine shape.

This would look great framed and displayed in any home, office, or art studio.
