PLEASE NOTE - While the photos accompanying this listing are an accurate representation of the product, bear in mind that the camera doesn't always capture color as well as it should. The photos appear darker and more "yellow" than the actual product, which is definitely a light "pastel" color. Also note that our shipping charge includes the ever-increasing costs of packaging materials, as well as reasonable "handling fees" associated with the time it takes to package your book correctly. We are not a "mega-mail-order" house; we are a small operation and we must watch our bottom line very carefully in order to bring you such great products at these fantastic prices!
At this time we accept PAYPAL ONLY. Winning bidders must make payment arrangements within 24 hours of auction end, and payment must be completed within three days of auction end, or the item will be relisted and a non-paying bidder alert will be issued. WE DO NOT LIKE TAKING THIS STEP--EVER. Unfortunately recent (and upcoming) changes to the way eBay handles customer feedback, and the way PayPal handles customer payments, is requiring that sellers be much more diligent in pursuing payment for their products. We will enforce these rules out of necessity; we don't like it either, and we certainly don't like that this process potentially makes every buyer seem like a scoundrel. However, since eBay has removed the ability of sellers to identify the true scoundrels from among the decent buyers, we just don't have any choice. If you don't like it, we strongly encourage you to make your dissatisfaction known to the people who control eBay. Remember, sellers have been far more vicimized by these foolish policies than buyers have. We're just sorry we have to treat buyers so shabbily now as a result.
These are our shipping policies at present--again, due to the changes eBay/PayPal have forced on sellers, these policies are subject to change at any time (we will honor these policies for this listing):
1. The quoted shipping price accompanying this listing is for shipments to STREET ADDRESSES in the CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY. We will ship to Alaska, Hawaii and to any country outside the United States on a case-by-case basis, but only with pre-approval. If you wish to have an item shipped outside of the continental United States you MUST contact us ahead of time for pre-approval and a shipping quote. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS MUST HAVE A SATISFACTORY FEEDBACK RATING...generally, this is a minimum of ten transactions completed satisfactorily (with positive feedback) with other sellers from the United States.
2. We use the United States Postal Service for all of our shipping. Our shipping charges are quoted as "Standard Flat Rate", which means that everyone pays the same price for shipping and WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR SHIPPING METHOD OR TIME OF ARRIVAL FOR ANY PRODUCT, except as might be specified in the "description" part of the listing (or if a specific shipment method is offered and you choose to pay the extra cost for that method). We usually, but not always, ship via USPS Priority Mail--though any method may be selected at our option (again, unless the description specifies otherwise or if a specific method is offered and you choose to pay for that specific service). It has been our experience that Priority mail is often no faster than standard mail--or more specifically, that all the mail travels at about the same speed...which is why we will sometimes forego the extra cost of a "faster" service that probably won't be any faster to begin with.
3. ANY SHIPPING CHARGE QUOTED incorporates the cost of shipping itself as well as reasonable packaging/handling costs and extra services (such as delivery confirmation) that we may choose to incorporate. If you see a difference between what you paid for shipping and the actual shipping costs...this is why. We keep all of our prices/fees as reasonable as possible (oftentimes your savings over retail will be incredible!). In order to offer such low prices we operate on a razor-thin margin and must recover all of the costs associated with marketing our products, including the costs of shipping materials, etc.
4. It is our practice to ship ONE BUSINESS DAY after payment has been received. Payment is not considered as "received" until it has completely cleared PayPal. This means that if your payment is being drawn as an "eCheck", or must otherwise be drawn from an account which requires a delay in payment to us, your shipment will be similarly delayed. Under no circumstances will we ship an item before it has been paid for, and before that payment has "cleared" our account. Again, new misguided PayPal policies THAT PUT SELLERS AT SIGNIFICANT RISK have made it necessary that we reserve certain protective rights, including the right to cancel any sale/refuse any transaction that would require us to ship our products before a buyer is required to pay for it in full. CDBI HOLDINGS is a reputable operation; we will not be held hostage by a few disingenuous buyers and a collection of foolish eBay/PayPal policies. IF YOU, FOR ANY REASON, EXPECT YOUR ITEM TO BE SHIPPED BEFORE YOU HAVE PAID FOR IT IN ITS ENTIRETY, YOU ARE FORBIDDEN FROM BUYING FROM US. Once again, we don't like having to behave as if every buyer is out to stiff us--but eBay/PayPal have carelessly removed many of the safeguards sellers have to protect themselves. As a result we have to set these kinds of limitations--and disrespect our quality customers in the process. We apologize to the vast majority of you who have no intention of behaving in any dishonorable manner...but we no longer have any legitimate way to know the difference between you and the miscreants. Please lodge your complaints with eBay--because we hate this as much as you do and there's no sense preaching to the choir.
5. We will email to let you know when a shipment has left our facility. Once it's in the hands of the carrier, we have no control over how or when it arrives. Please do not hold us responsible for delays incurred by the shipping agency.
6. It is our policy to offer insurance on all our listings. We will not be held responsible for loss or damage that occurs during shipment if you choose to decline insurance. Insurance is ALWAYS RECOMMENDED, and on some listings is required (as will be spelled out in the "description" part of the listing).
7. We will combine shipments/discount shipping charges TO THE EXTENT THAT THIS IS POSSIBLE WITH A MINIMUM DISRUPTION TO OUR SHIPPING PROCESS for those customers who are interested in purchasing multiple items from us. Please inquire if you have interest in combined shipping. Beyond this, there is no discount available on shipping. We do not negotiate our shipping prices or policies, ever. If you do not agree with our shipping price, policy or carrier choice/method, please do not bid or buy from us.
9. There are no local pickups available.

Our return policy is spelled out below, except as may be noted in the item description. Generally, we will only accept a return if our listing has grossly misrepresented the product or if the product is in some way defective. In the case of a defective product, we will replace the product whenever a replacement is available. We will refund the purchase price (only--not the shipping charges) if a suitable replacement is not available, but under no circumstances will we replace or refund until the original product is returned to us, in its original packaging and ready for resale if possible. Return-shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer (as is customary with any mail order operation). PLEASE EXAMINE YOUR PURCHASE IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL...returns will only be accepted if arrangements for return are made within 10 days when we originally shipped the product.
