Mr. Fretwell was the owner of Monfret Kennels, which bred champion standard poodles. He was former president and governor of the Poodle Club of America, and the Italian Greyhound Club of America. Lodge and others, appendices (poetry, list of hound names, list of Beagle packs, 1902-03). Index. Vol. I of The Hunting Library series.
