This knife was made for Harley-Davidson to commemorate the buy back of the factory into private ownership in June of 1981. On the blade front there is a black bar and shield with a floral design. On the back of the blade are the words

"Commemorating the return to private ownership of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company" also bares the signatures of the company officers at that time. This is a Limited Edition knife and is number 2813 of 3000. The knife is displayed in a hard wood case. You can own a real piece of great American history
